Service Designs and Trial Results

This section presents the results from the user trials undertaken in SafeTRIP.

Driver Interface

A 3.5 inch screen was mounted on the dashboard of the SafeTRIP vehicles – giving the driver access to navigation service (map) and other SafeTRIP services.

A 3 buttons panel was also mounted in the MIDDLE of the dashboard to allow access to the panel form both drivers and passengers of the vehicles. This was to allow the passengers to trigger an emergency call in case of an accident if the driver is unable to do so.
