Business Models for SafeTRIP Platform
In this scenario the SafeTRIP service provider has no direct relationship with end users. The scenario is the mirror of the first scenario: in both cases one party has an exclusive relationship with the end users.
In this case the SafeTRIP service provider provides a communication service to an existing service provider. The SafeTRIP platform is hidden from the end user. The existing service provider has exclusive direct contact with end users.

In this scenario the existing service provider provides the end users with end to end services. He/she is the focal point in the customer relationship and is responsible for:
- provision of the OBUs
- provision of Authentication, Authorization and Accounting features
- provision of value added services.
In this model the SafeTRIP service provider is responsible for:
- provision to the end user of S-band satellite connectivity complemented by alternative ground networks (AGN) and seamless routing of the data streams between available networks.
